We went to San Angelo this weekend so I was away from my usual Conté charcoal and newsprint. I brought my markers, pens and little sketchbook and experimented with them. I learned a lot about how to use them and blend them. I enjoyed using them so much I started calculating the cost for Copic markers if I ever decided to do color.
After watching an illustrator/cartoonist use alcohol based markers it made me want to try my hand at it. I had thought about doing a skull and shading with the markers, but I was afraid I would ruin the drawing since I had no clue what I was doing.
Hastings had all their used books for $3.99 so I thought it was the perfect opportunity to go shopping for at books. The receipt said we saved $411.36 thanks to them being used and on sale.
This was another drawing I did messing around with a Huion H610
